Copyright & Takedown Policy

Hosting infrastructure is what we supply; the content our customers publish is neither monitored nor controlled by us. Tell us about material that infringes copyright and we work through a notice-and-takedown process, which follows the hosting-provider protections written into UK and EU law, and the US DMCA in the cases where that applies.

Sending a copyright notice

Believe that content on our platform infringes a copyright you hold? Then email info@ifasthosting.com with "Copyright notice" in the subject and include:

• Your name, and the rights-holder you represent if not yourself.
• Identify both the copyrighted work and the infringing material, and give the exact URL(s).
• Your contact details.
• A statement saying you hold a good-faith belief that the use has no authorisation from the rights-holder, from its agent, or under the law.
• A statement confirming the information you give is accurate, and that you have authority to act for the rights-holder.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Once a complete notice reaches us, we review it, and where appropriate we disable access to the material and hand the notice on to the customer behind it. Notices that arrive incomplete, or that are plainly abusive, may be rejected.

Counter-notice

Had your content removed and think it was a mistake or a misidentification? A counter-notice can go to the same address, and it needs the location of the material, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you hold a good-faith belief the removal was an error, plus your consent to jurisdiction. Restoring the material is then open to us, unless the complainant takes legal action.

Repeat infringers

Repeated, valid infringement notices against an account lead to suspension of it, or to termination.
