This page describes, in plain terms, how we protect the data you trust us with. It supports our Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Encryption

• In transit — every site can serve traffic over HTTPS, and free auto-renewing SSL certificates are included so data moving between visitors and your site is encrypted.
• At rest — customer data sits on managed infrastructure with disk-level protections and access controls.
• Passwords are never stored in plain text; account credentials are hashed.

Platform and network

• Hosting runs on enterprise-grade infrastructure with network-level firewalling and DDoS mitigation at the edge.
• Isolation between accounts so one site cannot reach another's files.
• Software and server images are kept patched against known vulnerabilities.

Backups and recovery

Automated daily backups are taken so a site can be restored after mistake, corruption or attack. Backups are part of the platform, not an afterthought — but we still recommend you keep your own copies of anything critical.

Access control

• Administrative access is limited to staff who need it, and is logged.
• Your control panel supports strong, unique passwords; we encourage you to enable any available two-factor option.
• Payment card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please tell us privately at info@ifasthosting.com before disclosing it publicly, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. We appreciate reports made in good faith and will not pursue researchers who act responsibly.

Your part

Security is shared. Keep your own software (WordPress core, themes, plugins) up to date, use strong passwords, and remove anything you no longer use — most site compromises start with out-of-date third-party code, not the hosting platform.
