Is website migration free?

Yes. Website migration is included free with our hosting plans, with no separate charge for moving your site to us. You pay for the hosting plan itself; getting your existing site onto it is part of the service, not an add-on.

What is included

• Copying your website files across from your current host.
• Exporting and importing the database, for sites that use one.
• Updating the site's configuration so it connects to the new database correctly.
• Testing the site on the new server before anything is switched, so problems are caught while your current site is still live.
• Guidance on when it is safe to switch DNS, and confirmation once the move is complete.

What we need from you

Access to your current hosting — usually login details for the control panel or FTP, whichever your existing host provides. We do not need access to your domain registrar or DNS unless you specifically want help with that part as well, since DNS is something you switch yourself once the new site is tested and ready.

What is not included

Building a new website from scratch, or a redesign, is a different service from migration — migration moves what already exists as it currently is. If you want the site restructured, redesigned, or moved to a different platform entirely as part of the move, that is worth discussing separately so the scope is clear from the start.

Does this apply to any type of site?

It covers the common cases: WordPress, WooCommerce stores, static HTML sites, and most standard CMS platforms. Larger or more unusual setups may take longer to move, but the service itself is still free — see how long a migration typically takes for what affects the timeline.
